PPV and fight nights on IPTV, without the last-minute panic
Short version: PPV events are included with every Monster IPTV plan. Find the PPV or Events category in your app before fight night, expect event channels to stay blank until shortly before the broadcast, and use a wired connection for the main event.
Big fight nights are when an IPTV setup gets tested hardest: everyone tunes in at the same moment, and the main event starts late at night. A little preparation makes the difference between a smooth evening and scrambling during the walkouts.
Where PPV events live
Event channels are grouped in their own category, typically named PPV, Events, or Fight Night. Each channel is often labelled with the event name or the date. Add the category to Favourites a day or two before so you are not searching with the clock ticking.
The timing pattern
- Earlier in the day: the event channel is blank or shows a holding image. That is normal.
- Prelims: undercard bouts usually go live first, sometimes on a separate channel.
- Main card: the main event channel is busiest. Join a few minutes early rather than right at the ring walk.
Your fight-night checklist
- Test the same app and device the evening before by watching any live sports channel for 15 minutes.
- Plug in an Ethernet cable if you can. Wi-Fi is the most common cause of stutters during busy live events.
- Pause big downloads, game updates, and cloud backups on your home network.
- Note the backup feed for the event if more than one is listed.
- Keep the support contact handy in case your login stops working.
If it stutters mid-fight: switch to the alternative feed first. Restarting the whole app costs more time than changing channels, and the backup feed is there for exactly this moment.
Not just boxing
The same approach works for any big live event: MMA cards, wrestling specials, and other pay-per-view broadcasts that appear in the events category throughout the year.

Frequently asked questions
Do I pay extra for a pay-per-view event?
No. PPV events, including boxing and fight cards, are bundled into every Monster IPTV plan at no added cost.
Where do PPV channels appear in the list?
Usually in a dedicated PPV or Events category. Many of these channels stay blank or show a holding screen until the event is close to starting.
Why does a PPV channel show nothing earlier in the day?
Event channels typically go live shortly before the broadcast begins. A blank channel hours ahead of the main card is normal.
What should I do if the stream stutters during the main event?
Switch to the alternative feed for the same event if one is listed, and avoid restarting the whole app. Restarting the stream on the same channel is often enough.
